Amateur Radio 30 m Band
|
All ITU Regions include a secondary allocation to amateur radio in this band. According to the ITU, "this band is in use 24 hours each day, as a bridge between the 7 MHz and 14 MHz bands."
Some countries, such as the U.S., have allocated primary status for amateur radio in this band, although no voice or other wideband communications are allowed, and emissions are limited to 200 W peak envelope power.
In the U.S., the ARRL has established the following band plan. The band plan may apply in other countries as well:
Frequency (kHz): Use
10130 - 10140: RTTY
10140 - 10150: Packet
