Motus wildlife tracking systen

According to Motus.org, "the Motus Wildlife Tracking System (Motus) is an international collaborative research network that uses coordinated automated radio telemetry to facilitate research and education on the ecology and conservation of migratory animals. Motus is a program of Birds Canada in partnership with collaborating researchers and organizations."
According to the Northeast Motus Collaboration, "nanotag transmitters currently weigh as little as 0.3g and all operate on 166.380 MHz, emitting a coded microburst pulse that allows each individual tag to be instantly identified."
In Latin, the word motus means movement.
